Our Cellar Door is open for craft chocolate tasting flights and order collection 9:00am - 3:20pm Monday to Friday. You can see more information here.

We use NZ Post for orders in New Zealand, with overnight delivery on most orders, while deliveries to a rural address may take a day or two longer. All orders are tracked.

Shipping thresholds and prices for New Zealand are:
- Shipping for orders under $40 is $7.50 to an urban address and $13.50 to a rural address.
- Shipping for orders between $40 - $70 is $4.50 to an urban address and $10.50 to a rural address.
- Orders over $70 ship anywhere in NZ for free

International orders are sent using DHL Express. They are often delivered within two to three days, at the most within a week. All orders are tracked. 

USA and Canada customers - please see the note below about how to get Foundry in North America.  

Gifting
We can include a hand written gift card with your order. Just let us know the message when you make your order.

Shipping Days
We send orders Monday through Friday. Orders received by 9am on a shipping day will be sent the same day.

Orders are packed to minimise potential heat damage in the post. We instruct couriers to leave parcels in a cool and shaded spot if nobody is home - please make sure you have a suitable spot for orders to be left.

International Delivery - DHL Express
We use DHL Express for international orders. Orders to the are regularly delivered within two days, at the most within a week. 

We ship orders of up to 30 bars to the following countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan.

USA and Canada
In big news for our little team, we're thrilled to share the amazing new phase of carefully planned growth for our little chocolate foundry: we now have a North American distributor.

We've joined the lovely group of bean-to-bar craft chocolate makers at Chocolate Squirrel. We met Ella and the team from Chocolate Squirrel at the Northwest Chocolate Festival last year. They love our chocolate and are very excited about bringing it to a greater number of craft chocolate specialist retailers in the USA and Canada.

This does however mean some changes for those of you in North America who have been buying online from us. From 11 March 2025 you'll only be able to purchase Foundry from in country retailers, or from us in person at the Northwest Chocolate Festival later this year - yes, we're coming back!

Over the next few weeks more craft chocolate retailers around the USA and Canada will be getting our bars, we are looking forward to this new relationship making Foundry much more accessible to you.

It will be a few weeks until you'll be able to get Foundry online and instore more widely within the USA and Canada. In the meantime if there is anything within our range you especially want, you can email me at david@foundrychocolate.co.nz or Chocolate Squirrel at ella@chocolatesquirrel.com, and it can be included in one of our regular shipments.

EU countries and UK: with the EU VAT collection beginning 1 July 2021, we are not shipping to EU countries or the UK due to the requirement to collect VAT on orders. If you are based in the EU or UK and would like to order from us, please send us a message and we'll see what we can work out.

If the country you're ordering from is particularly hot, please note we cannot take responsibility for any melting that occurs in transit for international orders.
